Integration of patient information system
In 2018, Oral Hammaslääkärit Oyj acquired private oral healthcare businesses owned by Med Group. Med Group Hammaslääkärit Oy, which operated under the brand 'ONNI hammas', had 22 dental clinics in 15 locations in Finland. The aim of the project was to integrate the patient information system of 'ONNI hammas' clinics into Oral's system and to develop technologically advanced services also for new customers.
The ownership and overall responsibility for the project belonged to Oral's integration manager. The technical project manager for the critical IT integration was selected from Graniitti Services Oy, which provides experienced professionals for various project needs.

Application hosting transition project
Arek's need was to transfer the application management of critical systems from another supplier to a new supplier and find a reliable and competent project manager.
When the Granite Service expert acted as the transition project manager, the project stayed on schedule and within budget and the goals agreed at the beginning of the project were achieved
The key to success was close cooperation between the supplier teams and the customer organization and active steering group work. The project got the parties to invest in achieving the goals of the transition and in the seamless operation of Arek's information system services.
We also work on the Arek project, where the data center-based, mechanical control background system was transferred to the cloud service. At the end of the project, as a technical project manager, we ensured a smooth implementation where all ancillary work was taken into account and risks were managed. The project maximized the quality of the content of the end result, through the transparency of the parties and smooth cooperation.
