That is why we have created HeKa (Spiritual Growth) competence network, where we share our expertise, experiences and best practices with each other.
The core idea of the HeKa network is that every Graniitti employee can grow and develop as an expert together with others, learning from each other. At the same time, we develop the Graniitti spirit, strengthen our culture and Graniitti as a work community.
For us, learning is valuable in itself, but it is also a promise to our clients. A promise that the client will always receive a knowledgeable, up-to-date and continuously developing expert who brings added value to every stage of the project.
We meet regularly to discuss current industry themes, trends, project management best practices, and the latest tools.
Earlier this year, we were able to delve deeper into the world of responsible IT and learn how sustainable development and regulatory requirements affect our work. Understanding these regulations will become part of our experts' work on customer projects.
This year, spring at Graniit has been dedicated to the communication skills of our experts. When you think of project work, many people think of task lists, schedules and work packages. But in reality, most of a project manager's work is about communication, listening to people, sparring, and making sure that everyone understands where they are going. That's why we invest in developing communication. It's not just a soft skill, it's the very core of project work.
As summer approaches, we will be able to workshop GS spirit vol. 2.0 and return to our core values. In the workshop, we will dive into Graniitti's culture and reflect on how we meet each other and our customers, and what we want to see Graniitti of the future.
Last year's final HeKa focused on the concrete use of artificial intelligence in the work of project specialists. The artificial intelligence theme continues strongly this year as well.
In the future, the list will include many different topical topics that affect us in our work, but also in terms of our own coping and well-being. In the fall, we will delve deeper into an important theme, namely cybersecurity. More on this later!
