The field of project management is changing rapidly as new technologies, methods and regulations become part of everyday life. That is why developing expertise has been an important part of our work from the very beginning. Based on this, the HeKa network was born, where we share experiences, spar with each other and bring best practices into the toolkit of every Graniitti employee.
One of the founders of HeKa, Nina Huhtakangas, says that it has been a pleasure and privilege to be involved in planning and organizing various HeKa events with both external performers and Graniitti members. In addition to development, HeKa also offers us the opportunity to see each other and exchange news regularly.
The first HeKats of the year focused on cloud services and financial data
HeKa's fifth year has started off with a bang. In our first coffee morning of the year, we delved into the development of cloud services, reviewing the changes that have been seen in cloud services in recent years and what to expect next. Topics included artificial intelligence, FinOps, hybrid solutions, multi-cloud environments, and security.
Next, we took a look at the current changes in the financial world during FiDA coffee mornings. We discussed what the potential transfer of financial data from banks to people means in practice and how it could affect the everyday lives of ordinary people.
In the spring and summer, attention will turn to procurement and artificial intelligence
In the spring, we will continue the HeKa coffee mornings on artificial intelligence and share practical tips for prompting. After this, the topic will be further explored with an external facilitator. We will delve into how artificial intelligence affects the professional skills of experts, what kind of readiness is required to utilize it in customer projects, and how the use of artificial intelligence can be strengthened in different environments.
As summer approaches, we will focus on procurement, led by our own procurement experts. We will review the basics of procurement, the differences between the public and private sectors, and procurement preparation. We will also examine how artificial intelligence can be utilized to support procurement preparation.
This fall we'll be talking about resilience, leadership and cybersecurity.
After the summer, we will return to an important resource and focus on well-being at work. The themes are stress management, burnout prevention, and brain health in expert work.
During the fall, we will also discuss people management and how to lead a team of experts in a way that supports the success of the work. In the last HeKa of the year, we will focus on cybersecurity from a project work perspective.
For five years, HeKaa has shown us that learning together is an important part of the strength of our work community. Developing skills supports the growth and deepening of professional skills of every Graniitti employee. Up-to-date skills increase the meaning of work and support coping, as well as help find new and more efficient ways of working. At the same time, it is a promise to our customers. From us, the customer always gets a competent expert.
Our HeKa network is our way of nurturing professionalism and ensuring that we remain at the forefront of development in the future.
